The lovely staff at The Body Shop White Rose invited me along to a preview evening for some soon to be released products and to celebrate the launch of their new Fuji Green Tea Range.
As soon as I walked in it didn’t take me long to form a shopping list and commit to buying the Fuji Green Tea Bath Tea and infuser. All before saying hello to the staff and knowing anything about the products. The bath tea smelled amazing and I fell in love with the whole idea of making bath time extra special. If bath tea isn’t your thing there is also a new body butter, exfoliating soap and body sorbet.
We also got a peak at that the mojito range that should be hitting stores in June. For me this was the most exciting collection of the night and I don’t think there was a blogger that didn’t feel the same. We got to have a play with the products and I spent a lot of time with my nose stuck in the products because they smelled so good. I am looking forward to giving the body sorbet and body splash a go.
Another exciting discovery on the night was makeup. I have never tried makeup from The Body Shop. I have no idea how I made it this long without trying something and after the event I am keen to rectify this immediately. We got to try the new Kajal eyeliners and new additions to The Honey Bronze Range.
The eyeliners are very easy to use and they just glide on. The only downside is they aren’t waterproof. Not a downside for everyone, but my eyes can’t hold liner like they used to and there are only a few I can wear without them travelling down my face during the day.
The new additions to the Honey Bronze Range really made me want to get my bronze on and I can’t wait to get my hands on the highlighting dome, bronzing powder and the tinted leg mist. I am quite fair and find bronzing products intimidating, but the products I tried are very natural looking and buildable. My legs are so white and I think the mist will help them catch up to the rest of my body during the summer.
Some exciting products are going to be launching in the coming months and I have my shopping list ready. Do you?
