I have been invited to my first ever Ladies Day at Doncaster Races and I have been challenged to put together some outfits. Fashion isn’t my forte, but I think I have managed to put together some good looks. Let me know your favourite in the comments.
I’m starting off with one of my favourites. I spotted this lovely Grazia Geo Ombre Print Maxi Dress on the SimplyBe site long before ladies day popped up and this would be the perfect excuse to buy it. I have paired it with Sole Diva Block Heeled shoes again from SimplyBe, a Textured Zip Clutch from Topshop and a Andrea Flowers Fascinator On Comb from Accessorize. I love the pop of colour the bag and dress gives to the outfit.
For my second outfit I decided to go with a classic black & white look. I just love the elegance of the outfit. The Lovedrobe White Skirt Prom Dress is again from SimplyBe and I paired it with a Debut Black Loop & Feather Hair Clip Fascinator from Debenhams, a Iris Pleated Clutch Bag from Accessorize, a Pearl and Crystal Flower Clasp Bracelet from Accessorize and VT Collection Piped Low Sandals from SimblyBe.
Outfit three is all about nudes and once again I found myself on the SimplyBe website and chose this Kelly Brook Soft Pink Midi Dress and I paired it with these nude Heavenly Soles Peep Toe Shoes, a Gold Tone Cut Out Statement Necklace from River Island and this very pretty Scallop And Pearl Clutch Bag from Accessorize. I chose this dress because it has a bit more length to it and falls just below the knee.
Outfit four is very blue and I’m in love with this ‘Lela’ Blue Skater Dress from Lindy Bop and Blue Snake Print Criss-Cross Frame Clutch Bag from River Island. For shoes I went back to SimplyBe again, as I struggle to find comfy shoes for my wide fit feet. I chose these Sole Diva Mesh Side Pointy Court Shoes for their shorter heel. I feel like race day wouldn’t be complete without a head piece and I picked this Floozie by Frost French Black Sequin Heart Headband to complete the outfit.
I had so much fun putting these outfits together and it was hard to stop at four. I would love to know what you think and any recommendations or outfits you can suggest. You can also keep up with the Ladbrokes Ladies Day fashion here and see what outfit I decided to wear.
