When Real Techniques launched their Brush Cleansing Palette I originally thought, I don’t really need that and what difference will it really, but I decided to give it a try anyway and I’m quite surprised.
I’m so glad that I did becuase my brushes have never been cleaner and it takes half the time to clean all my brushes. The palette comes with two sachets of cleansing gel, but to be honest I haven’t even tried that yet and instead I’m finding that it works great with my all time brush cleaning fave Johnson’s baby shampoo.
The multi-textured surface of the palette really works through all of the bristles of your brushes, from the tiniest eyeliner brush, to big face powder brushes and there is something strangely therapeutic about swirling my brushes around the palette. My trusty MAC 217 that has been around for what must be seven years and has been looking a little worse for wear lately, looks almost brand new after taking a swirl around the palette.
Will you be giving this a try?
