2015 was a great year for me. Sure it had some sad and bad moments, but it was also balanced out with some great ones. I love reading these types of posts and thought I would put together some of my own highlights.
He Put A Ring On It!
The biggest highlight of 2015 and probably my life to date, has got to be my birthday trip to London. I had a wonderful break with Harry and got to explore London.
Harry planned loads of lovely things for my birthday. I woke up to birthday cake in bed, he booked a delicious afternoon tea for us (my first and now I’m obsessed), a trip to the top of the shard and lastly a champagne experience on the London Eye. Just as we reached the top, Harry asked for everyones attention (we were sharing the pod with about 8 american tourists and a few other couples) and I thought he was going to embarrass me yet again by getting everyone to sing happy birthday. He did this at the afternoon tea party and sure enough I found everyone singing to me on the London eye. Just as we had all turned back around to admire the stunning views, he cleared his throat again, got down on one knee and proposed. Everyone had said before we left for London that if he had booked the champagne experience he was going to propose, I guess they were right. Of course I tearfully said yes and I will remember that moment for the rest of my life. I can remember walking along the river afterwards and just feeling so happy and content. For the rest of the trip I was like Gollum staring lovingly at my ring and if i’m honest, I still do this.
Karen Walker – Eau De Parfum Fragrance Launch
This was one of those moments when I realised what my blog had the potential to be. I was lucky enough to be invited to attend the launch of Karen Walker’s fragrance collection at Harvey Nichols and I actually got to meet and interview her. Very exciting, but also a very nervous moment for me. I never thought that through my blog I would meet anyone like Karen Walker or have such opportunities come my way.
Ladies Day At The Races -St. Leger
Another fabulous moment of 2015 was this blogger day out at the races. My first ever ladies day experience and it was certainly done in style. I got to spend the day with some lovely bloggers, including; Georgina, Kellie and Lucy and it was just a great day. I’m still trying to find an excuse to wear this Sprinkle Of Glitter dress again.
I had some great blogging opportunities in 2015 and this has got to be the best. I was lucky enough to be invited to Harvey Nichols to experience a six-course menu created and cooked by Michelin star chef, Ian Swainson. The food was incredible and again – this is an experience that I won’t forget in a hurry. I also got to meet the lovely Ellie from Champagne-Lifestyle.com for the first time and she is just lovely. I hope I get to see her at more events in 2016.
Meeting lots of lovely bloggers
I got to meet so many amazing bloggers in 2015. I met the lovely Rhianna (Robowecop), Joe (Northern Blood) and Kayleigh (Very Berry Cosmo) at an event and I do a little happy dance whenever I find out I’m going to see them at a meet-up or event.
I got to meet the fabulous Anoushka (Anoushka Loves) and I have to confess I have a serious girl crush. I hope to see more of this lady in 2016.
I got to meet so many amazing bloggers at the Blog Awards and it has given me a great circle of friends. I don’t think a day goes by where I don’t get to speak to these lovelies and they really have been great supportive friends, that I hope stick around for years to come:

2015 was a great blogging year and I’m excited about what 2016 will bring. At the end of January my blog will be 2 years old and I’ve decided that I want to try and devote more time to it and turn it into the blog I want it to be.
