Every now and again I have a conversation with myself where I decide I’m not going to buy any more makeup until I get good use out of the products I’ve already got and for once self control paid off and I ended up finding 3 products that I never want to take out of my makeup bag and after 2 months, I still don’t want to use anything else on my cheeks.

First up is the Tarte Tres Chic Contour Palette that I raved about back in March. I think after hitting pan, I stuck it back in my  drawer with the intention of only using it for special occasions, but after trying it for one day it’s found it’s way back in my makeup bag. The Park Ave Princess bronzer is perfect for sculpting and I love using it in the hollows of my cheeks (hello fish face), along my nose and jawline. I’m not a contouring expert, but this seems to do wonders for my face.

After contouring I move on to what I have to say is the best bronzer/highlighter blusher I have ever come across. The i-glow compact shimmer powder in the shade Sirocco from New CID is absolutely beautiful on my skin and I love to use it as a bronzer and highlight because it gives my cheeks a nice luminous finish.

Even though you can use the i-glow as a blush, I still like to to add a little pop of colour to my cheeks with Laura Geller’s Baked Gelato Blush in Rosy Pink. This also has highlighter swirled through it, so that along with the i-glow means I don’t need to use a separate highlighter.

So there you have it, my top 3 cheek products. When you find products that work for you, you don’t want to use anything else.
